The ABN AMRO CPC Run The Hague is a running
tradition with international allure. The annual event is aimed at
elite athletes as well as recreational runners. The event has a
rich history. For example, a world record was run here in 2007.
That record stayed intact until 2010. Many well-known runners, such
as the phenomena Haile Gebrselassie and Patrick Makau have stood at
the start in the royal city.
More than 30,000 participants, among whom many world-class elite
runners, took part in the event in 2011. Thousands also took part
in the various Business Runs, participants of which gathered in the
big Business tent on the well-known Malieveld. The 37th
edition of the ABN AMRO CPC Run The Hague, one of The Netherlands'
biggest and most atmospheric running events takes place on Sunday
March 11, 2012.
